New pot mould system

I have been working on a new mould system for large , rock-like pots . Here is the first pot from the first mould , not even air dry yet . Second pot and second mould are on the way .

Thanks for the kind words Pat and Thymetraveller. I am debating , should I make many or a limited series from each mould ? If a limited series , how many ? Would appreciate opinions .

Looking the goods!

Will you be putting the same texture on the inside of the pot? Not all the way through just at the top? Looks like you may have I just can't see it properly in the photo.

Yes Percy, the inside rim for about 70 mm has a pattern imprinted on it .

Not glazed yet Sue , not even air dry when the picture was taken . Next step is to bisque to 1000 C and then glaze ( probably oxides ) then to 1280 C . Opinion on limited series , or as many as I can make ?

I think limited series, but the number depends on your definition of "limited".

Limited series- we do not all want the same pots - but are always looking for the perfect pot for "that' bonsai.Unless of course you are planning on supplying a retailer - then different parameters apply.
