The World of Japanese Ceramics on eBay

Post by Steven »

Hi potters,
You may be interested in THE WORLD OF JAPANESE CERAMICS written by Herbert Sanders with the collaboration of Kenkichi Tomimoto which is being auctioned on eBay at the moment.
Click the title above to see the item.

Ends: 29th January at 8:46 AEDST
Starting price: $29.95
Postage: $10.60

I have no idea if it is a good book but it looks interesting to me.
By the way, I have no interest in the sale nor am I associated with the seller.

Regards,
Steven

Yes, thanks for bringing it to our attention Steven.

I'd love to have a look at it but I'm hesitant about shelling out my shekels without a closer inspection.I can't help feeling that a smallish book covering such a huge section of the craft might be a bit light-on with details.
That being said, if I were a man of independant means, like Dave 54, I'd probably leap at it! 8-)

Herbert Sanders has written a book on Chinese Ceramics which is very good, but then I'm biased towards Chinese ceramics especially the Song Dynasty. I haven't heard about this book though. Thanks for the info, Steven.
Penny.
