Lennard thanks for the link, there are some stunning trees there.

For me the real showstopper is #3, Chrysanthemum trained to this level are rare & hard to do, kudos to the artist.

is number 3 not just a trunk made up of dead wood or planks of wood and phoenix grafted ? i have never seen anything like it.

There are some absolutly beatiful one one there, Number 9 has a very surreal feal about it? I love No. 34 and 41 :cool:

WOW! :tu: Amazing variety and some very unusual Bonsai here, Hobbiton Trayscape is my fave too! May even give it a go one day when time permits...

Hi gang, I am looking for a photo posted a few months ago here and I cannot find it again of an extremely large bonsai with a huge buttress. I think it was an olive or ficus. It had a person standing next to the tree for a size comparison. thankx.
