If it is a Syzigium then it won't understand the meaning of the word die or the term wont make it. It will be fine ;)

Hey Pat,

I often find good stuff dumped in the bush but now I am going to have to go start going to the tip to search for plants as well

As ken has said, cut it back hard and it should be fine. I would also give it a repotting into some fresh mix. Keep the water up to it & it should thump away again. These guys can be tough as, as this one shows. Most likely someones patio plant that didnt see a drop of water for months :x

Keep us posted on how it fairs.

I woud not worry about it yet, Let it show 6 - 12 months of positive growth before trying to decide what to do

you may well get some die back or something before then

Sit back watch it gropw and see if anything jumps out at you during the recovery

Hey Mate

I havent got any pic, but i have since prunned and just reallyy let it go, found alot of dead wood so i got rid of it down to the "still kickng" wood and not its starting to back bud on the trunk.
But i am not sure how to go about it.
I plan to get all your wonderful ideas soon on this lil one and some more that i have aquired.

Ill keep you posted.

Cheers Pat
