Such a nice tree. Of all the places where you think you would be safe from that sort of stuff.....
When would be the best time to collect one of these? (One that doesn't belong to someone)

Sorry to hear the bad news. Would have thought that a simple where can you buy one of those or may I have a cutting would have been far more polite.
That said, it is a wonderful looking tree.

It gets repotted the same as all natives when it has finished flowering and putting out new growth.
Cheers Pup

Re: Flowers in miniature
What a nice surprise if you thought it was a juniper and then it started flowering!
Can't believe what happened at the Club, that's outrageous

Re: Flowers in miniature
Unfortunately it must have caused more trauma than I realised as the tree has died.
I am now thinking of getting out all together as it does not seem worth the trouble

So sorry to hear this, Pup. Unbelievable that someone could "appreciate" your tree so much that they killed it. Can't blame you for not wanting to display your trees at the club again.
Please keep the photos on here coming, though. I really appreciate seeing what is possible with our natives.

Hi Pup,
Mate, I couldn't believe what I was reading. It is beyond my comprehension how moronic some people can be. So sorry to hear that it had such a detrimental result on the tree.
Hang in there mate, don't forget there are many people who appreciate what you do.
Regards Ray
