This is one of my favourite little plants that I have, it has some nice shape taking form but I have no idea what it is? I think it's a native, I took clippings of a bunch of plants 2 years ago and this is one of the few that survived. Image

Do the leaves smell of lemon if crushed? If so Leptospernum petersonii

I'd agree with that ID. L. petersonii is common in cultivation so is a likely candidate but there are also other Leptos that look similar but do not have the lemon scent.
