got 10x tube stock :)

Very excited i went and got 10 tube stock for $2 each today

2x black willow
2x bottle tree
2x river red gum
2x paperbark
1x small leaf fig
1x sea fig

They say the paperbark is only ment to grow around 2mtr tall and 2mtr wide

So so happy YAY

Love the DP I think it does represent in a way, this impatient side we noobs have lol.

What type of paper barks are they?

They are Melaleuca nodosa and they are already forming papery bark so pleased i could hardly sleep last night lol sad huh

They came from Kumbartcho Sanctuary and Jay (top bloke) told me they normally only reach 2mtr or so tall
There 90cm now

Everything they had was only $2 each what a good deal :)

Opps i got it wrong i got 2x black wattle not willow

If I was you'd I'd chuck them in bigger pots (12 inch will do) and add some fertilizer.

What size would you like your final tree to be?

I totally am :) got bigger pots today

Looking at 30 - 40cm height in the end

Should i chop in half now?

Leave it for a season in the big pot, let it grow a bit bigger and healthier and chop it in mid to late spring if it's ready.

I only got 175mm / 6.8 inch pots for now its all i could swing as I've spent way over budget lately

It will just have to do for now they were still in the tubes so i gather they won't fill 6inch to soon :fc:
