Just wondering if someone can advise on whether it's too late in the season to repot Natives?
I purchased a nice little Lemon Scented Lepto from the YVBS Sale day and have the perfect Murrumbung pot for it.
The other species I wished I got to earlier is a Baekea which also needs potting. The weather is still pretty warm here in Melbourne (30deg tomorrow) but is starting to
cool off. If it's better to leave until next season then that's fine but if there's no problems, I'll get cracking whilst there's still warmth in the air.
cheers, Rob.

Re: Early Autumn Repot
If you can have another month of warmth, then might be worth a go but i doubt it will be for that long?

Re: Early Autumn Repot
I had a heavily pot bound Lepto Petersonii that was starting to develop rot issues so I repotted it in April last year, it produced abundant growth straight away as a result.

Re: Early Autumn Repot
I had a look at the tree yesterday Rob. Firstly, nice little tree. Secondly, it doesn't need repotting until next late spring. Too early for a bonsai pot anyway, you should develop it as is for a while. Thirdly, Lemon Scented Tea are cold sensitive in Melbourne. They get going about December here so I would just leave it.
