Massive old paperbark

Found this big old paperbark today with the family. It's down the southeast of beachport in S.A.

Hate to guess an age but considering its meant to be a small tree and once aged they grow slow I'm going to have a stab and say over 500 years
Could be wrong but this thing is impressive. In person its even better. Hope you agree.

Beautiful Tree.
You've managed to take some nice photo's which do it some justice as well.
I often find that my photo's of mature tree's are often nowhere near as impressive..

Nice tree, but I have some similar sized in my area which was market garden less 100 yrs ago so I think 500 might be a stretch!

Lovely thing. I would guess at more like 80 or so years as well but that's really not important. What is important is the beauty of the tree. Would be nice to see from different angles too!
