Why is it that some people can't just give there oppinion.....if someone does not agree is there really a need to jump on your shetland pony and pretend its a high horse???

That is a very broad question. Without a picture I would not like to hazard a guess. Some of our members, that are more familiar, with Banksia's might be able to help, if you identified the species, and posted a picture or two if possible.
Just trying to be helpful cheers Pup

Even with a pic you cant... its all subjective.anttal63 wrote:Hey my man cant quote prices without a pic.
It comes down to what you are prepared to pay & what the owner is asking? If you can come to an agreement between yourselves thats all that matters.

Re: Banksia cost?
thanks for the replies...i think
just sorta wanted a ball park figure on something this size.....
its a Banksia serrata/old man banksia...can't get a pic sorry....but like I said straight trunk good taper, chunky base, healthy...pretty much advanced stock.
I know its hard without a pic and also a trees worth is only what someones willing to pay.....just wanted to get an idea what others would be willing to pay?

Re: Banksia cost?
Ok.....I sold some stock just like this - not in bonsai pots for $80 to $120 a couple of years ago.
They were 1982 vintage.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Leigh.

Re: Banksia cost?
G'day Gott,
Oops - didnt mean to mislead you mate. I just saw you said 75mm across the base. The ones I was selling were at least double that, not to worry - just offer him what you are comfortable paying mate, as long as he is happy - all is good.
