Thanks Grant I will look at that. I bought those Banksias from Fairhill and was going to get some more, but will change tack and try propagating from the integrifolias we have growing. I like the idea of the thread on extreme range for plants - I have a couple of potensia Japanese and Trident maples that I think will go nowhere up here. Perhaps I should really study what is growing in my area and take a lead from that
