Buying raffia?

Hi

Where can I get some natural raffia?
Can I use plastic raffia which selling from Asian groceries?

You can find it in Spotlight and Lincraft. have a read of this thread here:

They also talk about using old bicycle tyre inner tubes that you can usually obtain for free from bike shops.

Spotlight didn't have it, maybe out of stock. I'll drop by bike shops after work.
Someone also suggests me to use Jute string or cotton twine

If you are in Melbourne, the craft shop next to Daiso at Highpoint shopping center has raffia.
I have also found them in spotlight at DFO Tullamarine.
I too have found they are not always available at all stores.

Will also add that Spotlight at Homemaker Centre opposite Highpoint (Rosamond Rd) has natural raffia also (got some there a week ago - and they had plenty from memory) ... it was about $4 or so for 50g, more than enough for a few bends.
