I have just bought a new house so time to get my plants out of the rental.... Just wondering if anyone knows whether it's a bad idea or not to lift my colanders from the growbed... I have a couple of junis, a callistemon and a pomegranate which has already started to get its autumn colour/droping leaves.
Some friends of mine are moving into the rental so I can leave them if I want to but I doubt they'll ever get watered except for when I go past...

You should be fine to do so now. Most plant will have stopped growing by now

Cool thanks. Il get onto it over the weekend... Mite leave the pomegranate another month or so and do some hard root work when I pull it up as iv not looked at the roots in over a year...

As Ken has said, you can lift them without any problems. This is one of the great things with using the colanders when ground planting. The root ball inside the colander will not be disturbed.
