Hello everyone,just wondering if anyone can help me with this shimpaku. im thinking to make this shimpaku as shohin. please give me advice what is the best thing to do with it.

I think you should take this to a workshop and get someone who is proficient in applying raphia copper wire, and severe bending to help you with it. You need to get plenty of movement into the trunk - -preferably brought right down to soil level and up again - and not worry about branches at all for a year. The height will need to be reduced by about half what it is now to do that. Or, you could just shape it to something like the gum tree at the end of the Aus bonsai logo. But then it won't look like a shimpaku so much. Straightness and shimpaku just don't go together!
