Outstanding! If you are serious about learning how to make little trees this is a must. (Now I know how to put cut paste on properly!)
I wonder if something similar could be done with Banksia integrifolia from a nursery?
Cheers,

I signed up a few months ago as well (tier 2), having access to the archive has greatly improved my understanding of bonsai. 2 focused hours of high level knowledge a week is well worth the asking price in my opinion

Definitely recommend it.

" I wonder if something similar could be done with Banksia integrifolia from a nursery?"
Hi Delisea
Absolutely! The content from Ryan's vid should give you the ability to head down to a nursery and pick out some good stock and follow the instructions on front selection, branch selection etc and work towards setting up some trees to become beautiful bonsai in the future.
It's,all about getting hands on and building your confidence and your collection.
If in doubt you can of course refer back to the vid and also, there is some really good info on integrifolia here at ausbonsai as well

The biggest problem is, being able to stop at one or two purchases while you're at the nursery! :palm:

Good luck ....Dog. :tu2:

Interesting viewing. He has a few other videos out and available for free.

In one video he says when bending a branch down wire the base over the top, but in this latest video he doesn’t.

All,

Signed up to Tier 2 a couple of months ago - ditto to the learning posted by someone else - the video streams are not short(1-2hrs) but are in depth and showing close up work and most importantly WHY! , covers many species and related topics and the photography especially in close is just superb.
