Defoliation rule!
Is there some sort of a defoliation rule that applies to certain trees? It's common to defoliate a ficus which does not self defoliate in nature. This is to promote back budding and smaller leaves. Will this apply to buxus as well. These are also evergreen plants. Has anyone tried defoliating buxus without it ending up dead.
