Often post the odd pic here and there, and during the holidays I wanted to do a stocktake of all my collection. So far have just managed to snap a few groups pics. I tell people I don't count my bonsai anymore, just the number of "zones" I have, if that common?
Zones as below:
- top left: "welcome" zone, has oaks, figs, jacaranda, maple, pines, bottlebrush ... by the front
- top right: "large format" zone, my two large-ish tridents, left is an air layer from the right one
- middle: "formal display" zone, figs, oak, jacaranda, juniper, maples, flowering cherry, azalea (recently built stand)
- lower left and lower right: "native" zone, with banksia, bottlebrush, tea tree starters

Nice collection, good to be able to create zones for your trees. As a suggestion group/zone them for water requirements ie:- more / less water etc…
I need to do this for my pot collection round, oval, square, oblong. Not sure what’s happened seem to have more pots than trees?
Cheers

Just did a quick photo shoot with the "formal display zone" ... lowres doesn't do it justice, can post a link to a large version if anyone's interested? Still trying to work out the best way to catalogue/photograph my trees.
