fig not sprouting!

Post by hugh grant »

i have repotted and trimmed a raft style fig that i just put together about 4 weeks ago and the branches that were cut back to no leaves havnt sprouted yet or shown any buds. this is worrying me because ussually figs bud back pretty quickly, ussually in about 2 weeks. If anyone knows anything or why this is happening let me know :D
but i might just be freaking a bit too early, but its worrying me because i neeeed these branches that havnt sprouted yet.
Thanks

Hugh ;)

Thanks Jamie :D I hope it will. It's in a partly shaded area and it's quite hot here and rainy so I hope it comes on soon.
Thanks

Hugh ;)

should be right with those conditions mate, try moving it into a bit more sun, and putting on a whole heap of dynalic lifter. i have noticed with all the benji trunk chops i have done that the one that is in full sun covvered in dynamic is the first to sprout and its got new buds popping everyday on it.
thats whats been happening here, so it MIGHT work for you to.

i have found the more humidity you can give them the better :D
