My first question is as follows.
Im training my first bonsai and its a spotty gum.
Does anyone have any tips, ideas or photos they could share with me to help my craft bloom.
Anything would be greatly appreciated.

You've picked a difficult one to train Like other eucs they respond well to pruning and make lots of new buds on old wood but branches can die back when pruned. I have also cut roots quite hard without any problems. Root pruning generally in warmer weather.
Eucs/ Corymbias tend to look better as larger bonsai.

Im training my first bonsai and its a spotty gum which I saved as seedling from beneath out clothsline amongst the gravel.

Being nearly two yrs old, It allready has quite a knarled swollen trunk and i have wired its three branches to give it a open canopy.

Does anyone have any tips, ideas or photos they could share with me to help my craft and passion bloom.

Anything would be greatly appreciated.
