Eucalyptus Cinerea

This gum was called "Argyle Apple" by early settlers but of course it has no relation to the apple family.
I bought this in a nursery in Yass a few years ago because it is the local gum for the area that I live in.
I recently put it in a new house, one by Australian potter Janet Selby and although it is probably a bit too big, the colours suit the arrangement.

Thanks Watto. Really love the orbicular leaves – hoping the plant retains them as it ages. Will be interesting watching this develop over the years.

Thank you Fluorine, the leaves are ovate on mature trees however quite a bit larger than these - up to about 4 cm. I have my fingers crossed for a successful transplant.
