Pot change

Post by Pup »

This is another M. rhaphiophylla that was from the collecting area. It was a sucker than popped up on another tree.
So it was saved it is now developing nicely so.
I am going to re pot it in December into this pot as it is way over potted at the moment.
I would like your comments please. :D Pup

a bit of a virtual for those who find it hard to envisage...

hi pup,

i think that because there is strong movement left (or right from the back side front) in the trunk that is also accented in the first branch, there might be need for some negative space left, and pot position strong right.

a little extra growth on the right to help balance...

Nice vert Aaron!

Can you show us the back Pup? It looks as though the trunk bends towards the back a bit, am I right?

Aaron I did not mean to ignore you but as I was finishing with the Boy Mrs called we were running late.
I thank you for your virtual. The pot though is not oval as much as it looks.
When i do it I will try to position it as you have it whether that will work with this pot I am not sure. Again thank you :D Pup
