Melaleuca Bracteata

Post by Kelvin8r »

Hi All,

Here is my Mel. bracteata (I think) that I picked up as a seedling a few years ago at a local markets. I can't find any photos of when I brought it unfortunately. I took Rays advice and stuck it in a colander to grow. Here's one of the earliest photos I have it it from last year.

I had left some wire on a bit too long as it got a bit neglected. Here's how it was at the beginning of the year

In Aug this year we made the move from Port Hedland to Perth, so it got a big head chop so it could fit in my car. The top section was very straight anyhow, but it still took from courage to cut it back haha. Here how it is today.

This is probably the new front I will use when it comes to reporting. Would love to hear some thoughts and styling advice. Should I keep those bottom branches or knock them off.

This tree really kicks on after a feed, and back buds really easily. These ones have grown back after rubbing them out only a few weeks ago
