2 trees from 1 seed, libani twin trunk ?

Hi everyone, this looks interesting, looks like 2 libani will come out of 1 seed, any explanations? cheers,Fex

Some plants regularly produce polyembryonic seeds and I'm guessing that is what is happening here.

Most citrus seeds contain 3 or 4 embryos and, even more interesting, usually only 1 is the result of fertilisation. The others are clones of the mother :o

interesting, so what do you think happened,the seed already had 2 embryos inside, maybe 2 identical trees, or not :?: cheers,Fex
