AIR LAYERING PROGRESSION

Hi guys here there is an air layering that i have attempt in spring.....The plant is a MAGNOLIA.....
Ive done a ring bark and place around it a split colinder with a compost made of 1 part lava rock, 1 part potting mix, 1 part fine pine bark and 1 part sphagnum moss......

well done lele in all counts. choosing this section of the tree and right down to the first wiring. you're a gun pal, your work is already speaking for its self! ;) ps. i cant wait to see it in foliage and its progress, to determine on what scale this material will be suited to bonsai. :D
