I tried a landscpe theme with an 8 inch tree.
I haven't tried to bend them that much because dormant buds are sprouting.
I want to airlayer this one but i don't know if the bottom will survive without leaves? I would appreciate any suggestions. If it would bud down low I probably would chop the trunk.

ROFLMAO
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Me not into Latin, but it looks like what I call a silk tree, they have the habit of closing their leaves at night. Cute. Well done. I didn't think silk trees were wild though?

Thank you Jason lol! You cant get in trouble for digging up trees if they're invasive. They grow fast!
Lol Greenthumb. They are not long term trees. I am going to practice african acacia style with theses till i get my hands on a good Acacia.

Yes BushBunny, some people call it Silk Tree or Pink Mimosa. You could grow them in containers and bring them in when the temperature goes below 60°f. And it wont drop its leaves . Although they are semi deciduous, and will survive cold temperatures. Ive seen them in the Northeast . Thank you for your comments! Dont be a stranger
