These are developing nicely in the hot fine weather we are having.
I have cut back the rampant new growth, and remove all but 1 of the multiple shoots from the same locations on each of them.

I am very happy with both of these and they will not take long to make a very nice tree from them

they are both doing very well thanks
I have settled on branch placement and started controlling the growth by selectively trimming and will wire them soon as well.

they currently have a few flowers on them to brighten up the yard. I will see if I can get some updated pics on the weekend as it too dark by the time i get home from work

I got home early enough today to grab some pics of them.

They are Starting to develop nicely and in not very long time, will both be very nice trees.
I am happy to depart with them if anyone interested.
Something in the region of $25+ per trunk I think is good

Looking good Ken.
The one I purchased from you at the AusBonsai Market Day 2015 sulked for a while. Then about a month ago it started getting new shoots and is growing like crazy.
At NBS tomorrow we are having a workshop with Hugh Grant.
I've decided to take mine along and get some ideas from him in getting it on the road to becoming bonsai.

Spent the morning at Nepean Bonsai Society workshop day. Special guest was Hugh Grant.
I took my Murraya along, I could not believe the weight in it...
Hugh's method is to get you involved in the decisions and design and it does help you get a sense of satisfaction at the end.
I have added some pics of the four sides prior to loading it up for the drive to allow you to see what we were starting with. Ken, you will no doubt be familiar with it.

Selecting the front was the first challenge. Deciding on Side 3 because there was a lot of interest in the lower trunk. Then came the branch reduction which was done in stages, reducing those that we were sure about first, then continuing with each stage.
The next pic is the final result.

A couple of large branch cuts at the front will eventually be carved.
Now it will sit for a couple of years to grow & increase root growth before the next stage.
Overall I'm very excited with how it is turning out.

Nice trimming there Jimbo
I like the difference heights of the trunks and thus foliage in the future design.

The timber is very hard and that is why, inch for inch, Murraya are very heavy :-) :palm:
and this one was the biggest of the 3 I collected on that day :-)

I took the 2 I still have to School last week to give them some direction for the future.
Cut back a little more and wired branches to where they need to be.
They will get repotted soon as the roots are filling the pot and i want to make sure they have room to grow and develop.

they will be at the Sale day next year if you want to see in the flesh, but as they getting some value add they prices will be going up on last year :-)
