Ficus Obsession gone rampant!

Post by techpetal »

I am so happy!

My friend who has an unbelievable amount of bonsai experience and plants(friend of Vito and Dorothy) has said to me tonight he wants to take me fig collecting with his best mate who collected with him 20 years ago! I'm gunna hire a semi for this trip if possible! The bigger the base and truck the better! Bugger it, then we'll go fishing!

My obsession has gone from obsessive to all consuming.....need land to grow trees!

Whilst walking through the forest of Bonsai Myths, I found a single small tree.
From it I learned all I needed to know.

I am seriously jealous.
Ive never really been collecting I just pick up the od one from a crack in the rock or something.
you have inspired me to at least plan it for an adventure.
Aikido keeps me rolling; Bonsai keeps me still.
