Collected Privet.

Post by literati79 »

Here is a Privet that I cut back a few months ago. Yesterday I dug it up and removed all the old soil, root pruned the heavy roots and tidied up the feeder roots. Currently residing in a 40cm pot to stimulate root growth and growth on top. Plenty of seasol was used at transplanting.

Hi Jamie. Yes, definitely be doing some carving with this one I think. I have left some dead stubs and some lower branches to work with, I'm think a multi trunk style of some sort.

Will do Ken. Still not sure exactly where I will go with this one just yet, once the foliage grows a bit I think I'll be able to see a design in there.

Haven't done too much with this one. Kangaroos pruned it at one point. Have raised the nebari and checked the roots. Some more pruning. Waiting to get some decent branches forming before I do much more.Image
