Starting to pay off (silver berch stick)

Post by Sammy D »

I put a little silver berch stick in the ground 3 to 4 years ago and today i dug it up. Im amazed at how quick you can get some sort of base. My effort is starting to pay off. Still a long way to go on this stick but much better than the little wip i planted. Also there were 20 or so different trees planted so its a good feeling to be now starting to get rewards for the effort. Although only 1 in 5 seem worth digging back up :-).

A stick in a pot is better than no stick at all. Remember even the best bonsai started as a stick.

Looking good. Would probably cut a bit lower on the top as its looking a bit straight.... Solid start!
