Multiple layers one the one branch simultaneously?

Discussions about propagating from cuttings, seeds, air layers etc. Going on a dig (Yamadori) or thinking of importing? Discuss how, when and where here.

Multiple layers one the one branch simultaneously?

Post by The Surgeon »

Hi all

Quick Q.

Can you take more than one air layer along the same brach simultaneously? Looking at taking a number or layers on a Japanese Maple.

thanks

As long as each layer has its own foliage above it is fine. Post a pic showing where you are thinking of layering if you are unsure. Good luck!
