Anyone had experience with banksia curings?whens the best time to take them. Any tips to getting successful strike rates. I have these banksia serrata Pygmy possum I wish to propergate. Thanks.

Semi hard wood seems to have the best strike rate for me. That means mid - late summer usually. If you have somewhere a bit warmer for them it may still be possible now.
Some banksias seem to strike quite easily - B. ericifolia and B. spinulosa seem to strike better than serrata and integrifolia but I have grown B. integrifolia 'Roller Coaster' without too much trouble.
All the cultivars are grown from cuttings to get commercial quantities of plants for sale so it is likely that any successful cultivar is also able to strike reasonably easily.
