Craig AKA Sabamiki, Trunkchopped and Haggis
Unfortunately, I must inform you all that Craig, who I previously respected and trusted to be a moderator here, has been permanently banned from AusBonsai.
In the past we have not made bannings public however this instance does not deserve the respect of privacy.
For reasons that only he knows, Craig has been disrupting the forums not only under his own account but also using 3 aliases Sabamiki, trunkchopped and Haggis. All three accounts have been banned and renamed to reflect Craig's association.
Another member has also been banned for 1 week for breach of rules. This member participated in an online argument with Craig and also posted details of a PM in the forums.
Here is a link to the board Rules - The Spirit and Intent of AusBonsai. If you haven't read them then please do.
Yours truly,
Steven

I can see the need for the response, but it's a pity, his keenness will be missed.

Coming from me might not be seen as much.
Craig does have talent, his contribution to the site, as far as developing collecting and styling our natives will be missed.
He was undoubtably hot headed and responded, to the jibes. I think now is a good time, to say let sleeping dogs lie.Thinking of his good side.
Cheers Pup

Thanks for doing what I trust is the appropriate thing Steven. This is a great site with great mods. The rest of us should try to be the same.

It is a shame as a lot of Craig's trees are great and his input was valid and insightful most of the time.

Re: Craig AKA Sabamiki, Trunkchopped and Haggis
Although it is sad to see anyone permanently banned, this type of behaviour really can't really be tolerated as it can be very disruptive to the other site users. We had a member on a bird site that I am on, who would log on under different user names and agree with himself on some very contentious issues and actually abuse others who had a differing opinion. The moderators finally realised that the alter egos were never on line at the same time and also banned the cyber "Sybil". Multiple personality disorder The Three Faces of Eve, good movie.

Was it Craig? that describes him precisely!Hackimoto wrote:Although it is sad to see anyone permanently banned, this type of behaviour really can't really be tolerated as it can be very disruptive to the other site users. The sad thing was this has been going on for a while until we realised, and much of the damage had been done.
Yes Ant. lost of Self congratulatory posts there. Seems that he was using his aliases to generate some responses to his own threads if no one else posted.
He seemed to require the constant replies to anything he posted!
Sad that someone feels the need to get that sort of feedback to everything they post!
