It just took 25 seconds to get from what is a tonic thread to this thread, after a second press of the mouse.

Taking a long time to load. You can even watch your trees grow.

Re: Has Ausbonsai got a problem with the Website
It's been sluggish, off and on for a couple of weeks. I give up every three or four days and come back later. I can understand that the administrators do not want to change servers again - it's an enormous undertaking - but maybe the server can be promised a severe pruning and rewiring if the service doesn't come up to scratch.

Re: Has Ausbonsai got a problem with the Website
Hi Guys , Patience and Tolerance is definitely needed nowadays . With so many electronic gadgets around , every man and his dog is online 24/7 .I have had numerous issues with practically dozens of sites over the last few months .Google can and does take up to 10 minutes to load all the pics in a search over the last month sometimes the info won't load . Nine MSN has had a horror run over the last 2 months failing to load or freezing . I don't think its all to do with this site , just way too many people can't function without their twitters, tweets and text's which must put a strain on all internet servers .
High speed broadband was supposed to fix issues , some time this line runs as slow as dial up , Telstra couldn't sort the issues for 10 years so i changed service providers , it still has issue because its provided by Telstra and subcontracted to the new provider . With every new phone having internet connectivity , issues will only get worse . Gone are the days when only a handful of people where online now 90 % of the population is online in some shape or form .
Feed back i have received on the blog is the praise for in which the speed the topics load , hence viewers with their own site request the info of the server. This is happening at 6,00am and the same issue at 11.30 pm and its only the fist page , i have basically given up on the new google site as it too has huge delays in loading , if it loads at all .
Mans ambitions sometimes exceeds his capabilities and the internet is definitely one of them . I simply appreciate the opportunity to be part of this forum and take the good with the bad as far as the internet goes .
Cheers Alpineart

Re: Has Ausbonsai got a problem with the Website
Must be on the hosting side then, it used to happen to my old site from time to time with no real explanation.reddoggy wrote:Don`t think so DEnaz, what about every body else that is having trouble, and not loading at all, I have got one of the fastest Dell computers available on bigpond cable so I don`t think it is peoples computers ,but then again I aint no computer nerd.
Seems to be working nicely today though, so no complaints from me
Edit: And just after saying that it started playing up
Am getting this error pretty regularly:
Resource Limit Is Reached

Don't know whether that helps you or not Steven, but might help get to the bottom of it
