AusBonsai Community Garage Sale
G'day!
We are planning a Sydney based AusBonsai community garage sale where members can safely and securely reduce their collections or sell excess stock without fear of having strangers come to their homes.
I already have several predominant bonsaists who have registered interest to reduce their old collections of bonsai including some VERY high quality old trees at realistic prices!
The venue will be in the Parramatta area which is geographically the centre of Sydney.
Parking for over 100 vehicles is available very close to the all weather venue and sellers will be able to drive right up to the sale area for easy unloading etc. Bathroom facilities are also at the venue. Lunch will be available for sellers on the day.
The date is yet to be confirmed as I would like to make sure as many sellers are available to be there as possible.
Spaces are limited so if you would like to register your interest please reply in this thread, send me a PM or give me a call.
If you have any ideas for the event or would like to help out please let me know.
Regards,
Steven

AusBonsai Community Garage Sale
I think this is a great idea!!!
Quick thought-perhaps if there are a few member who only have a few bits to get rid of they/we can post here and "team up" to share a stall?

Great idea, just on the wrong side of the country haha
Should be a great chance to pick up some good stock, as well as meet some other members from the community

Have a question? The AusBonsai Wiki most likely has the answer!

I've been considering a national sale for some time. I've made a couple of posts in the past seeking project leaders in each capital city but haven't had any takers - yet. I think it is best to get this fist one done as a trial and then work out the logistics of a national sale. The key will be willing organisers... are you volunteering for Victoria?

Steven
