Avatar too small

My Avatar is 20kb and is therfore able to appear on the site. However it is very very small. :lost: How do I get an image under 20kb and have it show as a reasonable size. :lost: :reading:

I just use the app "photo and picture resizer" worked great for mine :tu:

Crop the pic the sose you want. Then resise it to bring the file sisr down

the image needs to be about 180 pixels Max.
Resise to that and you should be good.

Many image editors will reduce the size by reducing the dimensions rather than image quality.

Ended up resizing but saving as a GIF file rather than a TIF. A bit grainey but at least I can see it. Cheers. :tu:
