Resizing fotos
Gidday people ,I do not know what I am doing wrong but when I try to put fotos with my stories on this site it tells me that my fotos are to big need to resize ,so then I go into the resize program on my iPad ,go thru the process,it then says that it was resized successfully, then I go back on this site to carry on with the story try to put the foto that I have just resized but again it tells me that the foto is still the wrong size . I am just about over it ,there is no use if I cannot put fotos up with my stories ,so as a last resort can someone go thru it stage by stage otherwise I will give it away .thanks John .

Not sure if it applies to you but when I resize a photo it puts the resized picture in the cloud so when I upload it I have to choose browse rather then photos and find the one in cloud.Bonsai*beginner wrote:No using a iPad .

Re: Resizing fotos
Hi Bonsai*Beginner,
I saw you managed to resize and post a photo of your lepto, do you still need some assistance?
I ask because Tapatalk does have a few steps involved, download, create an account and sign into ausbonsai.
I’m more than happy to post instructions if needed but if your set for now it would be best not to disturb the “roots”

Re: Resizing fotos
Hi John, I feel your frustration, even with the new iPad I still can’t attach a photo. I have down loaded the image resize still no joy. months on and off now. Have checked google for info etc... useless! info headed as iPad but when you start reseaching it all goes back to windows. As for tap talk, cloud etc.... I too have no idea what language that is. So I will watch this post with interest perhaps someone who actually reads and see’s “iPad” will be able to assist with a step by step break down for us who don’t have windows, taptalk? Etc.........
For those without an iPad, there is no right click, no tool bars
Frustrated

Re: Resizing fotos
Hey team,
I use iOS all the time, on the iPhone and iPad.
if you wanted to upload photos, I use Tapatalk, which is an App for forums.
https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/tapatal ... tform=ipad
use the free version - sadly it does have a couple add in the mix of posts, but you can ignore those, rather than paying for it.
You will still need to enter your Apple ID for a free app to start the download.
when you download and install Tapatalk, you need to create an account (might be easier using the same email and credentials as AusBonsai)
open it up, search for AusBonsai and you will be prompted for your AusBonsai login.
then when you post photos it will resize them for you, which is handy.
I hope this helps!
if anyone has better idea's for mobile device users please feel free to correct me!

Re: Resizing fotos
When people use tap talk I can only see half the image. If I download it will I then be able to see the full picture?

Re: Resizing fotos
It’s annoying. You can’t upload high resolution pics with tapatalk as it won’t display correctly on the web forum. It compresses them so much anyway so the picture quality is crap. Better off resizing to smaller than 1MB and uploading using the website.Kieranrulz wrote:When people use tap talk I can only see half the image. This could be the answer if you already have an image resize app on your iPad
