[FAQ]Site navigation of recent posts - a quick tutorial

Post by Steven »

Hi,

To help with site navigation, here are a couple of tips to show how to easily visit the recent and active posts.

On the right hand side of the main forum page (under the 'last visit date') there are 5 page numbers - circled in red in the following picture...
Recent post pages.jpg
These link to the 5 pages (3 topics per page) of recently active forums.

Also, under the 'Recent posts' section there are the following 3 links (also circled in red)...
New post pages.jpg
These work as follows: -

'View unanswered posts' - Links to all posts that have not yet been replied to. A great place to visit to see something you may have missed.
'View New Posts' - Links to all threads where you have not yet read the latest post. Also a great place to visit to see what has been going on.
'View Active Topics' - This one links to all the threads that have been active over the last couple of days.

All the above work by the cookies stored on your computer. If you clear your cookies then these features will not work.

Hope this helps you navigate your way around ABC better.

Regards,
Steven

Thanks Steven. Can you also tell us how to use the bookmarks please. I bookmarked something once and then could never figure out how to view my bookmarks.
