Hi All,
Here is my Callistemon. I wired and selected branches straight away. Repotted today, was going to put in a bonsai pot, but the roots were very thick and course. Trimed them back lightly and will pot up later. Cut off wire as was starting to bite. Will cut back branches and work on ramification once it settles down.
Hopefuly i am going about this the right way. Cheers John [Boom 64].

Nice tree John
Good idea to take it slower to get into a bonsai pot. If they do not fit, do not force the issue and risk the tree,
The comp has plenty of time next year to get trees into the final pot after winter.
