AusBonsai Directory

Introducing the AusBonsai Directory of all things bonsai in Australia.

https://www.ausbonsai.com.au/directory/

When visiting the AusBonsai Directory you will first see the most recent listing. You can Search the Directory, Scroll through all listings or Filter by State, Category or Rating. The BLUE Toggle List View tab on the right hand side will give you access to the index.
The Post A Review system under each listing is a user submitted rating and review system that will be moderated the same as our forums.
Categories are currently – Bonsai Nurseries, Clubs and Schools, Japanese Gardens. Over time we may increase the categories. If you have any suggestions please let us know.
If you know of any listing that is not yet published, you can Submit A Listing by the link at the top of the page. Please use this link for any updates or corrections too.

The idea for a bonsai related directory first came about a few years ago when Japh and I began working on one. It was resurrected earlier this year and Jason has been instrumental in compiling the information, verifying it and entering it. Assisting Jason has been Matt Gatenby and Ken. Thanks very much guys!

If anyone has any ideas for improving the AusBonsai Directory, please let us know.

Merry Christmas!
Steven

Big props to Jason here :worship: He has been the driving force behind implementing this service.

Job well done ! As with all web based projects (and with your trees of course !) I see this piece continuing to evolve over time

Wishing the Ausbonsai community a happy and safe Christmas/New Year from the Blue Mountains

Cheers

Thanks for making it happen too Steven. I will now go and update the wiki to point to the directory so we only have 1 place to manage contacts

thanks for the Link luke, but we normally delete all links to outside webistes as spam especially when there is no context around the post. Most will not click an unknown link due to spam and viruses

Jason.
this is one that seems to be unknown :-)
as Luke is in SA, I assume this nursery is too.

Thanks to Ryan, Marcela and Neil for submitting additions to the directory!

If everyone else could please check to see if your club, school or local nursery is listed and the details are correct, it would be greatly appreciated :tu:

Hey all,

Just a heads up that I've updated the directory with a few updates (a couple more coming tonight), and we also now have our first potter on the list (Thanks Graham!!).

If you know of any listing that is not yet published, you can Submit A Listing by the link at the top of the page. Please use this link for any updates or corrections too.

If there are any questions or anything at all, please don't hesitate to drop me or one of the AB team a line and we'll happily help. If you're struggling to submit you're own listing (or one you know of) you only need to ask, and we can sort you out :)

It is truely a great tool, and is well worth a look. Last time I visited Sydney, I used the directory to locate all the nurseries close to where I was staying, and was able to locate them all, and visit them easily, all using the directory (and a car  ), so check it out and let us know what you think :tu:

Cheers!
Jas

Hi Jason,

Just submitted 'Bonsai Sensation Nursery'

Visited here a couple of weeks ago, and it is "Sensational". great variety of trees esp pines and cedars, and the usual supplies, but also Tien is very friendly - great guy to have a chat to discussing techniques etc. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Sth East of Melb :tu:

Thanks for all your work on the site too :hooray: keep up the good work :worship:
