Yesterday's bonsai class we were honoured for Leong to teach our class. And went home with this great little conifer (can't remember what he called it as I didn't write it down.... stupid) really enjoyed his teaching and learnt a lot.
Went home with a finished tree so there was nothing to do on any of my bonsai when I got home so thought it might be time to tame my jungle!( a little bit of gardening)
Yeah just a bit of gardening haha, now I have to get rid of this pile, way to much for the compost bin and or the green bin think a trip to the tip might be on the cards.
Happy Easter everyone
Cheers dwayne

Re: Time to tame the jungle
Hi Dwayne, I'm pretty sure your tree is Dwarf Alberta Spruce - Picea glauca 'Conica'.
Cheers,
Mojo

Re: Time to tame the jungle
I agree Mojo a little Spruce.
Not sure how it will take to the horizontal branches. Generally I thought they liked a bit more of an upward angle. Anyone have any thoughts on this, or experience to the contrary.
Cheers
