The pics don't do justice to that one. Maybe place a .ca of coke next to it to show its size. It's the same one I enquired about but they wouldn't sell. Nonetheless it's so out of my league.

Sorry for the lack of size reference I was in their carpark and had nothing in the way of a suitable gauge.

She said she thinks it's a West Australian variety of flowering gum so perhaps Ficifolia or similar, we'll wait to see if and when it flowers.

In the meantime I have cut some unusable branches off and wait for it to back bud. :fc:

How did you fair with this one Macguyver? That would have been a heck of an effort carrying and unloading this one, haha. I've vowed never to own anything this big, for logistical and spinal reasons.

I root pruned and cut back everything that I purchased that day, and in just the last week the Angophora has shot all over so I'm thrilled as it was my favourite.

The lady was shocked as I said I would return with three or four guys but as it turned out none were available at a days notice and as it closes at 3:30pm and it was the last day I had to act.

I used their trolley to cart it up the driveway then got it to the car park where there was an old Brush Turkeys abandoned nest, so I rolled it up on its side onto the nest and then backed the ute up to it, the lady nearly had a heart attack when she realised i'd got it onto the ute on my own.

It has buds appearing everywhere after the recent chops.

Will post a pic up soon.

Apologies, this last year has been hectic, new baby in January, house hunting and purchase and a new manager at work making his mark has kept me flat out.

I have vowed to begin posting up some of my trees for assistance and critique recently.

Will take a photo this arvo if I get time.
