Hey Guys
Here in Adelaide a few of us seem to have found we have a much better rate of survival of hawthorns, if collected straight after leaf drop or at least when most leaves have dropped . Not saying it's the best way but seems to be working for us.
cheers

Does cut paste need to be used on the large cuts on the trunk and roots?

Tony Tickle collects a lot of Hawthorn and he uses a technique involving cheap black garbage bags . I think there is more info on his blog .
