Bad Karma
I know a lot of people here will not be saddened, but I have had to come to terms with that. As well as being told I have Lung Cancer, I have been receiving treatment at this stage they tell all is good. However if feeling this good is getting better I am glad I am not ill.
The reason for this little repartee, is to inform you that my trees are going to be sold, as I am not able to maintain them to the standard I would like.
Unfortunately, I am not able to ship them or put up pictures as it is too hard.
Cheers Pup
PS it is not a fire sale if it was worth 2grand 6 months ago it is still the same.

Re: Bad Karma
Hi Pup, that is unfortunate news.
I can't imagine anybody's history or and clashes of opinion with you would prevent them from wishing you a positive prognosis and recovery.
Fight like hell,
Mojo

Re: Bad Karma
Surprisingly I find myself agreeing with Mojo
Shame you have had to make the decision to sell and an even bigger shame that no one outside of WA gets a chance to buy one of your trees. I hope the future bodes well for you Pup.

Re: Bad Karma
Hi Pup,
I agree... Keep fighting, AusBonsai Forum wouldn't be the same without you. Many memories! We met when you came to Canberra in August 2008 for the opening of the first National Bonsai and Penjing Collection of Australia, together with your wife. Here is a photo of you, with the tree you donated to the Collection. One of the first donations! We won't forget.
All the best, Pup, the very best! Regards, also to your wife,
Lisa

Hi Pup,
Don't often post BUT 'I have loved your blunt ( saying how it really is) input over the years. I don't often buy other peoples trees BUT if I had a chance and the money I would. Please hang in there.
Kind Regards,
Peter Hanrahan

Re: Bad Karma
Good luck PUP in the fight of your life,I am sure you are up to it.
It is a pity you cannot say what you want on these forums as you have a great deal of knowledge, but you seem to get into trouble by people that know a lot less than you.
Get well soon mate

Determination is now required Pup and with today's technology and expertise lung cancer is beatable. A friend of mine has just done it so stay positive. Love to Sue as she will be fighting with you.

Re: Bad Karma
Hi Pup,
Sorry to hear of your deteriorating situation and Margaret and I wish you all the best in the future.
We have fond memories of our road and rail trip to WA to pick up your donated trees for the national collection. They were and still are the backbone of the collection and your trees were the first of many donations from all around Australia.
