You have some really nice elms there. Very nice
A stick in a pot is better than no stick at all. Remember even the best bonsai started as a stick.

I like what I assume to be a new pot on the first one and EE's at bud burst are just the best!
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful
