Just thought I’d start a thread on Ulmus Procera seeing there is a few of us that like them.

Plan on starting to work mine this week end as it going to be finally cool for a bit .

The start of a great thread I'm sure.
Collected this Elm from a Gaulburn dig way back in 04. My very first tree I ever collected and what a trunk for my first attempt. Never done any carving or jining on the trunk and left it to show it's natural undisturbed age.

Nice treemate , don’t you love how these trees roll over the bark to make it look entirely different in years to come . They just get bettter with age naturally .

Here is a couple of neglected untrained potted tree's we collected in need of wireing and styling when i find the time

One more. This one is only about 25 cm tall but I have had it since a dig in 1995 so its been in a pot for a while now.
