hi all
here is my bonsai setup at a property i have just rented. i set it up to have minimal impact on the yard and can be easily dismantled. it cost around $200 in materials from bunnings.
cheers

That's a nice neat job Rob. the trees should do well there but what happens when the grass grows under the benches?

Thanks shibui, the bench’s are approx 600mm high, there’s plenty room for a whipper snipper to get underneath and cut the grass.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Hi Rob,
That's a great looking setup & it looks like you have many nice plants to house & enjoy.
The only area I would be wary of, would be the spot in the very back corner - where the two colourbond fences meet.
In my experience the lack of air circulation in these corner positions becomes minimal & your bonsai may not thrive if air circulation becomes too stagnant.
take extra care to monitor the health of whatever trees you place in this area.
All the best.

Yes good point, im glad you mentioned that as i was only concerned with the heat that can come off the colorbond. I’ll rotate the plants around..... cheers
