Osuka

Post by Snipz »

Hi All,

Does anyone have first hand experience of the Osuka brand of tooling; they seem very reasonably priced and are made of Japanese steel?!

Thanks

I recently bought some root shears and some Jin pliers and have found them to be pretty good, defiantly made well.

I have a fair few Osuka tools; all seem to be good quality for the price, never had any issues with any of them

I have concave cutters and long handled scissors. They are both lovely and good quality but I’ve only used the scissors 4 or 5 times and have already managed to put a nick in one edge, which prevented it closing all the way. Must have been a bit of grit between the blades. I wasn’t very happy, as it seemed a bit soft, but it’s carbon steel.
