Just looking to identify this tree. These pics are the best i have at the moment. Hoping identify so i can work out if its safe to dig or wait til til next year. Anyway thanks in advance for any help you can provide in identifying.

Only time for a glance, sorry.. does look camelia. Possibly worth considering Rhaphiolepis?

Not azalea or camellia.
Possibly Escallonia species? Raphiolepsis is another possibility

I agree with Shibui, Escallonia SPP. check out the spent flowers.

Think that correct from what ive "googled" the flowers i saw last year different lead me to believe its a Escallonia species. Cheers for the help guys.shibui wrote:Not azalea or camellia.
