COPROSMA COPPERLEAF
New Zealand native. Naturally tiny copper coloured leaves [it's NOT dead!!!] that will compact for a thick foliage padded tree. Where the leaves are shaded form the sun they will be a deep hunter green.
Curvy trunk with interesting 'pock' marks. Small shoot to the right - not sure if it is fully rooted but could easily be grown as a second trunk or separated as an up and coming young tree.
The lower right foliage pad has had some light pruning but the rest has been left wild because, in the proper season, cuttings can be taken and a host of new plants started if propagation is your thing.
Copperleafs are not easily available and this one is 34 cm tall so could make a 28 cm tree with a season's pruning and styling. It is not a fussy tree, prefers full sun and is robust.
$70 pick up only from Bexley [near Kogarah in Sydney]
