I bought this plant in a garden center in July 2007.
I knew it would never be a "real" bonsaï, but I found thsi plant native of New Zealand quite nice.
It's very difficult to take a photo that renders the delicacy of this shrub, but this is what it looked like in 2007 :

It's very "exotic" here in France, when i bought it was the first and last time I had seen one in a shop. But I guess in Australia, maybe it is more common.

A very interesting looking plant that I have not seen before. The leaves are really cute and it looks like it will be drooping in flowers shortly.
It appears to be doing very well in your climate and care.
